Erin is an editor, writer, teacher, and historian. Her past editing projects include copy-editing for the Economic History Review, line-editing for memoirs and genre fiction, developmental editing memoir and YA fantasy, and editing and coaching for academic writing. She is an award-winning instructor with over fourteen years of experience teaching in higher education in critical thinking, academic writing, history, humanities, and general studies.
Erin has certificates in writing and editing from the University of Washington, with a specialization in developmental editing. She also has a PhD in medieval English history, reads widely in both fiction and non-fiction, and has a genuine interest in learning new things. She is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and the Northwest Editors Guild.
Currently, she is writing a memoir about her experience with infertility and IVF, through the lens of someone who is neurodivergent.
